Do I need any tuning experience?
No. Slave tool users get free basic training and full technical support from ABI's. The workflow is simple: diagnose, reset where needed, read and write. We supply the files. There's also a 6 to 8 hour advanced training course for €350 + VAT.
What's the difference between master and slave?
With a slave tool, your files come from ABI's and you get full support and the 30-day file warranty. With a master tool you can create and edit files yourself and work with any provider, but there's no standard warranty and support may be limited.
How fast do files come back?
Typical turnaround is 5 to 30 minutes. The portal runs 15 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What does the 30-day file warranty cover?
Every slave file includes 30 days of cover. Need an extra solution or a change within that time? Request it through the portal at no extra charge. Changes to master files after delivery are charged separately.
Which tools do you supply?
AutoTuner and Magic Motorsport Flex, as master or slave. Slave tools start at €1,599 ex VAT for the Flex OBDII & Bench. We help you choose, set it up and connect it to the portal.
Is there a yearly subscription?
AutoTuner has no yearly subscription. Magic Motorsport Flex Full has a yearly subscription, with the first year included.
I already have a master tool. Can I use your files?
Yes. Register on the portal, upload your read and you'll get your tuned file back, typically in 5 to 30 minutes.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. You can pay in full, use business finance as a sole trader or limited company, or pay with Klarna or PayPal Credit, all subject to approval.
Which vehicles can I tune?
Cars (petrol and diesel), vans and light commercials, trucks and heavy duty, agri, plant and ATVs, across most European brands including BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes and Ford.
How does paying for files work?
You top up credit in the portal and spend it on files. Credit bundles add bonus credit, from 10% on Saver 1 up to 30% on Saver 4.
Do prices include VAT?
All prices are subject to VAT where applicable. Irish customers are charged Irish VAT. EU businesses with a valid VAT number and customers outside the EU may qualify for different VAT treatment.
